A Perfect Tuscan Lunch – Warm, Authentic, and Full of Flavor

We had a lovely lunch at Lo Scudo, a charming Tuscan trattoria tucked away in Florence. The setting is cozy and traditional, with warm service and a genuine local feel.

We started with a classic prosciutto e melone—fresh, sweet cantaloupe paired beautifully with delicate cured ham. For mains, we had two standout pasta dishes: tagliolini alle vongole (with clams), fresh and fragrant, and pappardelle al ragù, rich, comforting, and deeply flavorful.

For dessert, we couldn’t resist trying both: a smooth panna cotta with blueberry compote and a classic tiramisu served in a jar—both absolutely delicious.

perfect. just with one word. the staff is lovely and so attentive plus the steak is awesome. it was my second time in Florence and i didn't miss my dinner in that restaurant. i would recommend to everyone. though it is not that affordable for everyone. but i am sure even 5 people will be completely full with one steak and it really does deserve the price. plus it is a whole steak. so it deserves every penny.
